Professional Experience:

Michael Bonacci has been working as an entertainer and a magician for over the last fifty years in the Philadelphia, PA area, performing at various functions for all ages. He is skilled in all areas of magic: close-up, strolling magic and stage magic using animals, comedy and illusions. Michael has studied magic at the Chavez College of Magic, Hollywood, CA and theater at the Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, PA and theater at Montgomery County Community College, Blue Bell, PA.

Michael Bonacci has a variety of shows for all occasions that range from thirty-minutes to forty-five minutes or strolling inter-active magic by the hour that include children's birthday parties, corporate/company functions, trade shows, mall openings, school shows, libraries, Bar-Bat Mitzvahs, adult parties and blue and gold scout banquets. Michael Bonacci has a style that is unique in presenting old and new classics of magic for all ages, that include audience participation from magically dressing up the birthday child as a wizard or producing a dove or rabbit or sawing a lady in half.

Jenkintown Pack 210 We hired Michael for my Mother's 50th birthday party. There was a mix of children and adult guests, and we were hoping that Michael would be able to entertain everyone - he did not disappoint! During the party while other activities were going on, Michael performed "mingle magic" to small groups of guests, and then later performed a full magic show for everyone. During both the mingle magic and the show, Michael was able to astound guests over and over with his magic! His performance was suitable for kids and adults, and he truly engaged everyone there. We were talking about his show for the rest of the night! Not only does he impress with his magic, he was personable and very funny. What a pleasure it was to have Michael entertain The Outdoor Gardeners at our Christmas luncheon Dec.3, 2015. His rapport with the audience of 60 people was easy and engaging. Besides the 3 dozen cub scouts there were also lots of siblings. He had them all come up and sit on the floor in front of the stage. And when he called for the "big kids" to come up as well I had to go sit on the floor with my sons for a nice second row seat. He was one of the most entertaining magicians I have ever seen locally. He was able to get many of the kids involved both up on the stage and in the audience. The pace was perfect and the tricks were a good mix of funny and new and classic old school magic. Some of the adults were even brought into the act. Anybody that can keep the attention of 45 kids for 45 minutes and have them laughing and clapping and staring wide eyed at some of the tricks deserves to be called an entertainer.
